Can someone explain the end of the book "The Moon is Down" by john Steinbeck, to me?
i just finished it, and i am confused by what the doctor and oden are talking about. what is the symbolism behind Doctor winters quote of "the debt shall be paid." and where is oden going? no, people, i am not cheating on homework. we had to read this book for english, and we are having a test tomorrow, and i am confused on the ending. thank you.

How much should a paver patio cost me???
I'm in VA, and I just received a "special winter quote" from a contractor. He quoted me $5000 to do an 18X13 paver patio w/ a circle kit; 2 retaining walls, and 4 stairs from our kitchen door with a landing. Does that sound like a special price?? Just curious. Thanks.
